Longest Balloon Trip Ever Gets Off the Ground

The world's first successful nonstop circumnavigation of the world by hot-air balloon got going when Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones lifted off from Switzerland in their enormous Breitling Orbiter 3. They touched down in Egypt 20 days later, having flown 29,000 miles.
